I have been a published author since 2004. My first publications included forensic science articles that were in Forensic Nurse magazine. From there I went on to complete writing of my first book, Forensics and the Violent Criminal MInd.
I am also a Registered Nurse, forensic nurse, and a criminologist. I have three college degrees: an Associates in Nursing, a Bachelors degree in criminology and sociology, and a Masters degree in Forensic Science. In addition, I have a Certificate in Forensic Nursing.
My former employments included being a correctional officer for 9 years. a police officer for the US Dept. of Defense, and an FBI fingerprint examiner.
I have considerable experience in public speaking and have had such experiences since I worked for the FBI in the 1970s. I have also done some teaching in the forensic and criminology sciences in the not too long ago past. I have been on local TV and international radio about my first nonfiction book and look forward to more appearances.
I am a member of the International Association of Nurses, the National Association of Writers and Editors, and the Connecticut Association of Writers and Publishers.
Although I am now retired or rather, semiretired from nursing, I still due private duty nursing part time. But I still continue to write and will continue to do so for as long as I can. If you check my gallery, you will see all 7 of my books I've published so far. I am now working on my 8th book and my 6th novel which I plan to have published later this year.
